I am still thinking about poetry:
Poetry can feel so dense and so alive, right?
Why do so many people fee people is so difficult.
and also so archaic? I think its alive.
Do you Feel the spaces between the words?
Do you agree with me that poetry expresses the inexpressible?
What do we get from words? What do we get from the sounds in words?
We receive information about words from the sounds in the word as well as their meaning. Have you ever sensed that? The music of words, of language sets up a whole other set of experiences for us, doesn’t it?
Mood and intent..and feelings is how I get it. What do you get? Tell me!
I feel alone in poetry except when I am talking to poets.
What the poet’s know: A heightened sense of language, musicality, power of words, how sound in words convey meaning and how words can give ‘unseen things" a name.
We can learn to use the exact word needed to communicate whatever we wish.
