Slow Food

How fast can you type? How fast can you think? How fast can you move from place to another? How fast can you make money? How fast can you spend money? How many TVs do you have one at once?

How jammed is your brain?

How nervous are you? Anxious.

How much anxiety do you have because you can’t keep up?

When New York City became overwhelming I began to think of going to Africa to work with the animals. However I knew that I had to be here to do what I was doing.

That is what I had contracted for.

Lynn slow down.

I have many legs. Many talents. But I realized none of them could be fully utilized if I was trying to focus on too many things.

If we are looking outward for the satisfaction of others we can not find out who we really are. In Santorini – my spirit home – even in the summers in August the marble narrow in Oia looks sometimes like 42nd street. On that narrow pathway there is a beautiful restaurant called 1900 and the logo is a snail.

Slow food.

Santorini always reminds me of regenerating that part of me that is here to do what I am supposed to do. I am on a singular path that is different. I don’t have cars and children and microwaves. I believe the planet can be healed and we can change our world. Art. Alchemy. And healing.

So it was necessary always to eliminate, to keep moving away from things that would complicate me, things that were not going to benefit my healing. They were just so many plays I could see. So many movies I could see. SO many countries I could visit. Wanting to do it all. A glutton. But I had to keep on my path.

And in that Breaking into Brilliance was born.
